Messner Mountain Museum - "Ripa"
The fifth museum dedicated to Reinhold Messner at Bruneck Castle is all about the mountain people. It displays expos from the everyday life and culture of the local mountain people (like Sherpa, Indios, Tibeter, Walser, Mongols, Hunza).
Folk Art Museum
The Museum of Folk Art in Dietenheim by Bruneck opened in 1976. It is spread out over 3 hectares of land and contains about two dozen structures that were rebuilt between 1977 and 1993 and would have been destroyed otherwise.
